Weddings
Make your wedding day a day to remember forever, with a ceremony that reflects your love, and your dreams. Since my registration with the Attorney General five years ago, I have officiated at over 100 weddings and the testimonials received are proof of the delighted couples to whom I have worked with.
I will personally work with you for as many times as is necessary to ensure that your ceremony is exactly as you want it. I provide a booklet with ideas for you to research and then together with you, compose a ceremony that you will love.
To commence your proceedings you need to:
- Establish the date, time and venue for your wedding.
- Consider the time of the year you wish to marry, as there are traditional months when bookings are heavy.
- Contact and meet me at least one month prior the wedding day, to lodge the Notice of Intend to Marriage. I will provide the notice for you and both parties to the marriage must sign in my presence.
- When lodging the Notice of Intend to Marriage, you must provide your original Birth Certificates. - If you have been married previously, you must provide your Divorce Certificate – Decree Absolute or Death Certificate of your former spouse.
- I will assist you with all the legal documents and submit to the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages, Victoria.
